Charles's Story
After the close of St Thomas in May of 1970, I joined the US Navy and then the US Army. I served in uniform from 1970 thru 1994. I retired on 1 November 1994 as a US Army Sergeant Major. I married my wife Wanda in 1978 in Augsburg, West Germany. Her dad was an Army Warrant Officer. Our daughter, Karrie was born in 1980 in Heidleberg, W. erved overseas in Germany, Panama and South Korea. Stateside in, Ca., D.C., Ky, Ga, N.C., Ma., Tx., and N.J. I retired from the Army to Fellsmere, Florida where our children graduated high school, went to college, and now work. My wife and I sold our home in 2005, bought a MotorHome and travel the US seeing the sites now. I keep in touch with Jerry LaPointe and Robert Ott both of the same class as I.
