Charles's Story
Life
After Libbey, went to the University of Toledo. Earned a BS and MS in Civil Engineering. Ignored my degrees and went to work for IBM. Worked with companies developing their systems, moved on to developing mainframe computers and retired after 34 years. Spent 1967-1969 as a Lt. in the US Army .
Married to Nancy, an incredible person that I adore. We raised 5 children. All children have at least 1 college degree, ...Expand for more
all have jobs w/benefits, and all are married. We have 11 grandchildren.
Currently, doing all the things that we didn't have time to do before retirement. We are busier and more active that before retirment. We have a home in the Adironacks of New York and a small villa on a golf course north of Tampa, Florida. Tennis, golf, biking, hiking, canoeing, traveling, kids, boating, bridge, friends. etc. are our priorities.
