Charles's Story
Life
I grew up in San Jose, CA. My Dad became mayor of the city and sent me to a private high school, Bellarmine College Prep which I grew to love. However, I left John Muir Jr. High School the year before I was to graduate (1969) and lost all my friends. College
After graduation from Westmont I graduated from Denver Seminary. Then I went to grad school in philosophy at San Jose State Univ (MA) and ended at Graduate Theological Union with a doctorate. I am now a professor of philosophy at St. Patrick's Seminary and University in Menlo Park, CA, 94025. I am married with four boys at home and two grown daughters. I loved Westmont. It grounded my faith.
