Charles's Story

Life Where to start, where to start. Life, what is life? I'm speaking of the categories for the bios this site presents us with. Isn't it a combination of all the "categories" that this site provides for us. Don't get me wrong; I'm not being negative, just brief. Fun stuff --> biking, volleyball (the two months out of the year you can play volleyball outdoors in Chicago), computers, theater, "music, movies, microcode and pizza" (and no, it doesn't count if you google it, but go ahead an do so anyway). Stream of consciousness seems to be kinda fun at the moment so go ahead and throw that on as well. I currently (2006-7) work as an architect for an internet start up. Loosely speaking. o with the PS2 and DDR set up. The college part --> I went to school as a theater major. I graduated with a degree in mathematical computer science. Boy was that useless. It's all about certifications as far as HR is concerned in our line of work and prooving you can think and have experience to everyone else on the team. School: in retrospect, everyone that was able should have dropped out at 16 and GED'd their way into college if they knew what they wanted to do. (Ah it's nice to know that the teenage cynicism and angst are still alive and well down there somewhere being tempered by some adult-like sense of responsibility.) Of course, I didn't know what I wanted to do so highschool was a great way to waste time, hang out and proove that I could still get into college. Military, tough one considering I was never in the military. Let's just leave it at that. And that is about all there is tonight. Take care, stay young, have fun, live this live thing.
