Life I've revised this, May 2007, to bring it up to date a bit. After HS graduation I moved to San Francisco. Two years of alternative service, helping veterans. Changing majors, changing schools, leaving school to work, finally in 1981 a BA (the New School in NYC). By that time I had stumbled upon computer programming, and began to live pretty well. I was also a 5th grade teacher 10 years during the 90s. In a second marriage 20 years now, a son 17 who is an artist and an ace pitcher. Gabriel is a junior in high school, way more sensible than I was at his age. We've just started to visit colleges. I still write poems and stories. At 57 I still play guitar and write songs.
