Charles's Story

Left Wyandotte in 1955 to join the Navy. Spent twenty (20) years, of which 10 year recruiting Nurses for the Navy. Moved Florida in 1978 and worked in Human Resources. Retired from a Power Company (Florida Keys Electric Cooperative) located in Key Largo as the Human Resources Manager. My wife, we were married in 1955 was Sharon (Chadwick) also from Roosevelt High, and I moved to Tennessee to live in our dream...Expand for more
home, a log Cabin in the woods. We move here in 2005. My lovely wife passed last April. My future plans is to travel. I visited Wyandotte last summer. I went back to see my old home (gone) and Sharon's (gone). Also wanted to see the church we were married in (St Helena' on Forest St. (Also gone) If you get to Tennessee, let me know you are coming. Remember, you are only as happy as you allow yourself to be.
