in San Diego, CA in 1999. I have been on numerous deployments all over the world, where most of that time was spent in the Middle East, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, mostly hot zones for example. I was involuntarily extended for a few months because of a stop-loss of certain mos's (military occupational specialty). I got out of the service with an honorable discharge in August of '03 with a V.A. rating of 40% disability because of my injuries during my time in the military, and if any of you are wondering, I am not missing any limbs. After a few months of living in beautiful San Diego, I moved back to CT around November of '03 and lived there since.
