Charles's Story
Attended San Diego State, was there for 5 years, but spent a lot of time goofing off, changing majors, got the credits but not the degree. Began working for RadioShack in 1971 part time during SDSU, got married in 1973, three children, now 48, 46, 45, and grandchildren 21, 20, 14, 13, 12. Was with RS for 31 years, moving to Orange County, Seattle, San Francisco, then back to OC. Went to work as VP/GM for a construction company, retired after 6 years in 2006. nt time with family, enjoyed life for 2 years until financial disaster struck. Returned to The Shack for 2010 but that was a mismatch - what a change from the good years 1971-2000 and the death spiral of the last years! So, now I am officially retired. Susy and I live in Ladera Ranch (south Orange County Calif), and the kids, grandkids, family all live with us or within 15 miles. Have been in contact with quite a few Lancers, some amazing (and surprising) stories out there.
