Life After I graduated from high school I went to Michigan Tech to pursue an engineering degree. In 1992 I received my Associates degree in Electrical Engineering Technology. Afterwards I sought my 4-year BS in electrical engineering. Unfortunately, midway through my studies I went through several personal hardships. Eventually, by the time I got over those traumatic events I was no longer interested in being an engineer. This was around the year 1995. I started a career in sales, leading to marginal success. I even got a management position. But I could go no further than where I was in that position and I knew I could do better. So late in the year 2000 I started thinking about not only leaving that management position, but leaving the area altogether. After lots of thought and research, a new home was chosen. In early 2001 I packed up and headed to my new home in Texas. I stay in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, also known as the metroplex. It took a little time to adjust to life in north Texas, but I managed. I had some success here, and unfortunately, I had some failures. I have had plenty of opportunity to succeed here. In early 2006, I purchased a new home. Thank God--no more renting!!
