Charles's Story

Life My dad was a contractor so until the fourth grade I lived all over California including a short time in Arizona. my dad started his own business and we settled down in Anderson California in 1972 so, that is what I call my home. i joined the U.S.Army in 1983 served overseas for 18 months was transfered to Ft. Campbell Kentucky from then on. I was accepted for flight school while stationed at Ft. Campbell so attended flight school at Ft. Rucker Alabama when I graduated nov.1987 The Army sent me back to Ft. Campbell KY. .My unit was deployed to Ft. Hunter Ligget California where I was involved in a helicopter Mid-Air collission I was retired in 1991 and have been in and out of hospitals ever since. I went back to school in 1992 received my associates degree in 1996 transfered to Bradley University and obtained my Bachelors of Science in 1995. I have moved back to Burney California where my dad is reactivating his contractors license and once again we will start building homes. I joined the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints when I was 18 the church has become a large part of my life now. I am looking for somneone that will be able to get married in the lords house so we can have a family that is sealed together for time and eternity. College After graduating from high school I went to work for my dad in the construction trade I wanted to improve myself so I went to Shasta college and took night courses in residential dezign. I then attended Cenral Texas College when I was stationed in Darmstadt Germany taking business courses. go back to Germany where I could use the schooling. After flight school I took courses with Embry Riddle Aeronautical University at Ft. Campbell Kentucky. Once I got retired I started school in 1992 at Illinois Central College graduating in 1996 with an Associates of Science in Architecture and Construction. I transfered to Bradley University in 1996 taking courses part time I graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Construction in 2004. Military I attended Basic training and advanced individual traing at Ft. Bliss Texas graduated as honor graduate in December of 1983 I was then sent to Germany for my first tour of duty. I was assigned to 32nd air defense command while thier I became Soldier of the year for both 32nd Army Air defense Command and Darmstadt Military Community. I then attended Primary Leadership developement copurse over in Germany where I graduated as destinguished graduate. I was transfered back to Ft. Campbell Kentucky and assigned to 1/3 Army Air defense Battalion I was trying to get accepted for flight training the whole time my application went before a board and I was accepted in 1986 reporting date was in January of 1987. The first six weeks was the Warrant Officer Entry course I graduated from there as distinguished graduate I then started flight training where I graduated honor graduate first runner up in november of 1987. When I was retired I had awarded to me the Meritorious service medal while I was in I had been awarded 5 Army Acomodation medals 5 Army Achievement medals,A Good conduct medal, Army service ribbon, a ribbon for attending the Primary Leadership Development Course, overseas srvice ribbon
