Charles's Story
I'm from from Checotah, Oklahoma (Currently reside in Blanchard, Oklahoma). I'm married to Regina Pendergraft (Tracy) and have three Grandchildren (one of whom lives with us). My schools include Capitol Hill High School, the University of Oklahoma (Psychology, Physics/Mathematics), Oklahoma State University (Public Administration), and the Air Force Institute of Technology (Logistics Management). I am currently retired from the Air Force, but Self-Employed (Charles Pendergraft's Photo-Graphic Arts Studio), and previously worked as a Systems Analyst/Computer Specialist and Quality Management Specialist for the United States Air Force.
My favorite athletes include Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus (I can still manage to get around a golf course). Music I like includes New Age, Classic Rock, some Country, and even Classical. Books I likes include Adventure, Science-Fiction, and of course, Non-Fiction that I can learn something from. Movies I like include Action Films, Westerns, and Comedy. My favorite type of TV shows are: Comedy, and Action (NCIS, Castle, Bones, Rizzoli & Isles, etc...), and I kind of like the History Channel.
My favorite quote is: "Old Guys Rule" (because I'm really old)!

ger person, I would never have given this stuff a first thought, much less a second. Now that I'm older and have children and grandchildren, the type of world we will leave them, and their kids as well, has started to concern me quite a bit. Anyway, I've listed three quotes below which are my favorite in the area of politics, then enough said about that:
(1) "Those who would sacrifice freedom for security deserve, and soon shall have, neither."
(2) "Law which does not support justice is merely tyranny."
(3) "The only instance of Political Incorrectness - Is Politics.".
Like the character Gibbs on the NCIS television series, I have a few rules I try to abide by (I think he has fifty or sixty by now, I have only four). The first and fourth I consider to be extremely important to remember, the second and third I consider to be very good ideas unless circumstances require them to be broken. I'll list them below, then I'll be done with this mountain of words.
(Rule #1): Always protect your family, even if their not related!
(Rule #2): Avoid politicians and lawyers like they're carrying the plague.
(Rule #3): Never believe a so-called 'expert'.
(Rule #4): Sometimes, you're just plain wrong! (this one is pretty much directly lifted from the NCIS show).
Well, that's me in a nutshell - probably should be in a nuthouse, but so far I've avoided that fate.
