Charles's Story
It was never easy for me. I was born a poor black child.
I remember the days, sittin' on the porch with my family, singin' and dancin' down in Mississippi...
Heh. Kidding.
Family and pre-high school friends know me as "C.J." and the rest as "Chuck." Nobody calls me Navin R. Johnson.
Anymore.
I was an army brat who moved all around this great country before settling in Wisconsin in the middle of 7th Grade.
I showed up in Packer Country wearing a NY Giants hoodie. It's a wonder I wasn't lynched on the spot.

y's kids and thus began my love affair with the Midwest.
I attended St. Lawrence Seminary High School and Marquette University for my bachelor's degree in public relations.
And I've been a professional communicator ever since.
These days, I reside in Chicago with my lovely new bride Jocelyn and my cats.
We play cricket every third Thursday, polo Saturday mornings after tea and show our championship ferrets annually.
