Charles's Story
Life
I have lived in Australia since Feb 1995. Since high school I was fortunate to earn several college degrees. These were the foundation for a life I never could have envisioned when in high school. While living in the USA I resided in 6 states and traveled in 48 of the 50. I have travelled in 35 countries and lived in the Republic of China while engaging in contracts in Asian countries. When I reached my 75th birthdayI decided to retire to the Sunshine Coast of Queensland in Australia where I now live. My personal life revolves around my lovely wife and our very attentive little dog. Michele, my wife, was born in Paris and also has traveled widely. Our joint experiences gives us a broad perspective on the diversity of cultures and languages. We continue to enjoy travel with the most recent venture being to Scandinavian countries and Russia. avocation with physics and astronomy as my primary interests. I find retirement to be even more busy than I was while working since I continue to provide consulting services part time in addition to writing on business and non-technical subjects. My philosophy remains to be involved in life rather than being a bystander to glean as much as I can from the life experience. Although I often think of family and friends in the USA, I am not considering a returning to permanently reside there. Frequent visits to the USA and modern communications meet most needs.
