Charles's Story
Worked in restaurants, mostly with Bob's Big Boy after graduation, moved to Glendale in 1968 and then San Diego in 1969. Quit to go back to school at San Diego State in 1974, attended 1 year and then transferred to San Jose State; taking courses mostly in Biological Sciences and Entomology. ne son, Steve, born in 1983. I have worked in warehousing since 1976, and currently work for the City of San Jose in their main warehouse facility as a foreman. I am a Hep C survivor; went through one year of unsuccessful treatment in 2000; but am doing OK post treatment. Most of my family moved to Seattle in 1969, where they still live; except my sister Linda, who lives in Walnut Creek, CA in the north-east San Francisco Bay area.
