Charles's Story
Life
I am pleased to announce my first book got published March 2004. The title is "Being Black" At The Sharp Point. The publisher is Authorhouse Publishing. It is an autobiography of my life and the accomplishments I have had over the years.
Life has been good to me and I need to share the expriences I have had with the world. After being shot in the head in Vietnam in 1969, I never thought I would be good for anything. But God had different plans for me and he has treated me very good over the years.
I just had my second book published June 23, 2008. The title is "A Walk On The Rough Side" It is a fiction depicting growing up in Pittsburgh in the 90's. It will be on the shelves in July 2008.
I moved to Dallas TX September 2007. Since moving to Dallas I started my own business Sharp Promotions Live. I promote two female blues and R&B singers. We will travel and perform anywhere in the world as long as the travel and accomm...Expand for more

I have since moved back to Columbia SC.
Workplace
My years at GE were very informative, and a beautiful experience as a work place. I have worked for several companies, and none were as good as the time I spent at GE. The comrades were professional and a joy to work with. I retired from GE Power Systems Hedquarters in Marrieta GA Oct 1, 2002.
Military
I went in the Army at the age of 17 and spent 10 years in a secretive environement. My friends, nor family were familiar with what I was doing in the Army. If I had it to do again, I would try very hard not to get shot twice again. I grew up in the Army and treasure my experience outside of Vietnam. A great experience for any young man.
