Charles's Story

Life Hello, Well it'S now 2006. Many things have happened in my life over the last 27 years as I'm sure has happened in yours. Many wonderful and happy times and some that although I learned from I would be happy to forget. After moving back to Georgia, in March of my senior year, I graduated and was doing fine in the summer of "79". I enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard and got to see the world on Uncle Sam's dime. I served for 5 years before meeting and marrying me wife Elizabeth. We wed in 1985 and have 4 beautifu...Expand for more
l daughters Melissa, Cherokie, Amber and Kayla. I continued my military career until I retired in August of 2000. 3 weeks after retiring I went to work for CSX railroad as a freight conductor. I served as a conductor for 3 1/2 years before qualifing as a yardmaster. I did not care for that and returned being a conductor. In April 2005, I attended engineer training in Cumberland, MD. and after 7 months of class room and on the job training became a locomotive engineer. I run from Miami to Tampa, Wildwood and Sanford, Florida.
