After graduating fromTalbot County High School, in 1940 then the Univ. of Ga, served 4 years in U. S. Navy (as an Attack Boat Division Officer) in the Pacific, where I was in World War II battle action, suffering some minor disability. currently live with wife, the former Betty Cheney of Cairo, Ga. Had 3 children, 2 girls and one boy. Am currently enjoying retirement, having spent 24 years teaching the Bible at a local church, and now fully retired, playing pool 3 times a week, and in good health.
