Charles's Story

Life Graduated Baylor University in 1981 and was married (1st) before starting to work with KPMG that summer. Multiplied the earth with 2 daughters - now 18 and 22 - and divorced in 1991. Remarried my soul-mate in 1992 - happy ever since. Worked at KPMG 4 years, then at Seagoville Bank 4 years, then my CPA practice for 13 years when I sold it and started building new homes with a former client. We are not big - YET! MHB Homes mainly building small custom homes in Seagoville - starting to branch into Forney, Rockwall, Royce City. ENOUGH Advertising - This website does enough of that! Learned over the last 5 years that close friends and family make all the difference in the quality of life. It's very easy to make enemies, just say the wrong thing, cut someone off in traffic or punch someone in the stomach. ...Expand for more
The hard thing in life is to keep up with the friends you have and make sure you keep contact while raising a family and making a living. I enjoy eating out with friends and going on trips together whenever possible. Life is great. Mine has not been dull. It has been full of joyful experiences as well as numerous stressful ones. I would say I have learned to balance life or at least I have learned to keep myself balanced. I am optimistic that the future will be as good and better than the past. I don't like the growing old part when the eyes loose their keeness and the bones, that only yesterday made me feel like I was thirty something, wake me up today with a pain I did not expect. But I know that tomorrow will bring something new and maybe exciting - that's what I look forward to, the mystery of tomorrow.
