Biography
Hello, my name is Charles S. Willis, I am a sixty year old African American born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. I am married with ten children, eight adults and currently raising two boys at home. I am seventeen years into my second marriage and love my wife dearly. I am also involved in the Church as a trustee, devotional leader and youth outreach coordinator. After living a somewhat riotous life for many years, I decided to seek a better way, not knowing at the time I really needed Salvation. On January 15, 1989, I surrendered my old life and was given a new life, one of peace and joy. And for this I am thankful.
I currently work for a first and second tier auto supplier to General Motors, Toyota, and Honda car manufacturers. My job title is Machine Repairman. rd in 1983, while employed with United States Steel Corp and continued in the trade up to the present. My current goal is to switch careers and fulfill a lifelong dream of mine to become a business administrator. To reach this goal, I plan to study for my Bachelor of Arts degree while running a small business part time. As you can see managing my time is very important and I believe this course of study will help to achieve my goal.
In the past I have enjoyed sports, hobbies and gardening. I travel an average of forty thousand miles a year between work, church and recreation. So the organization and management skills that I will learn in this course of study will be just what I need. I believe all the life experience over the past sixty years has prepared me for my future career and I plan to share what I have with as many people as I can. I am sure that with a little hard work and some guidance I will be successful.
