Chuck's Story
HI, and welcome to My Life story.
Not the most exciting life but it's been good. I have been blessed with a patient and understanding spouse and three healthy, mostly well mannered sons. I have been married to the same lady (Sue) for the past 16 years and have celebrated 4 wedding anniversaries. How'd we do that? It's an easy answer. We are the parents to 3 boys ages 14, 11 & 9. We reside in Rockville and in the Rockville High School cluster. I find it funny how many Classmates members write about there college aged kids and I still have one in elementary school with two more years to go in it. I enjoyed my early years and waited to do the heavy adult type things such as marriage, kids, home ownership etc... for later in life.
After graduation I moved around the job market for awhile mostly in the trades. Then I found my first cabinetmakers position and I did 15 years as a custom cabinetmaker. Does anyone but me remember Ned Oakley? He was the shop teacher in Southlawn Middle School. He instilled the passion for woodworking in me as a fifth grader...Expand for more
and I have never lost the love for it. After cabinetmaking I did 5 years as a carpenter. During the carpenter years, the family stared to grow and I needed real stability and a place to grow. I am currently employed by the City of Rockville (Police) as a Housing Codes Inspector. I'm the guy that makes property owners keep their properties neat, clean and in good repair. I am currently in my ninth year of an illustrious 25 year carrier as a Government Official.
I am currently the Cub Master of Cub Scout Pack 943 at Meadow Hall Elem. In addition I am an Assistant Scout Master with Boy Scout Troop 447. I coach a little league baseball team in the RBBA.
I am the Vice President of the Twinbrook Swimming Pool, Home of the Ducks Swimming team. Stop on by the pool, no need to jump the fence at night (like the good ole days) come as my guest.
Don't bother looking I'm not listed in any phone directories. Like I said, not the most exciting life but thanks for taking the time to read about MY LIFE.
This has been a lot of fun. Have a pleasant day.
Chuck
