Charles's Story
Charles is from Carpentersville and retired in Rogers, Arkansas. Charles's schools include Dundee Community High School and the Skokie School of Beauty. Charles worked at hairdressing and advanced education for 42 years. Traveled for the Redken Corporation world wide. Taught advanced hair cutting in Toronto. Helped create the Organic Theater Company in Chicago and did the hair and make-up for the productions and became the vice president of the company. ion including The House That Jane Built with Ellen Bursten. Did many celebrities for the same channels musical variety show, K D Lang, Rosemary Cloney, Micheal Feinstein and Jane Powell. Did hair and make-up for a long running variety show called Millie's Orchid Show at the Parkwest Theater in Chicago. Opened the first high end full service salon in Chicago's River North neighborhood. I've traveled extensively and have a younger sister who lived in Austria for ten years and is now in Madrid. Wintered 20 years in Jamaica and ten years in Acapulco.
