Charles's Story

After EHS I attended CWSC for a couple of years, got married, had a son and moved to Indiana for year around work. I got work as an electricians helper in the Gary/East Chicago area. After a couple of years and a daugher born, we moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where I was able to join the Electrical Construction Union. I was divorced in 1971 and remarried in 1972. lectrician a few years later and in 1976 was hired as a maintenance electrician at the GM/AC Spark Plug plant. After 30 years I retired with a Master Electrician certification and two more sons. I've been enjoying my grandchildren, golfing, hunting, and my classic cars. I also get a fair amount of riding time on my Harley. Wisconsin is a tax hell but I can't get my kids to move elsewhere.
