Charlesanna's Story
Here I am in the Washington, DC area - just the place my military husband and I tried to avoid for much of his career. But grad school sent us to the area and after finishing out his last 2 assignments, we were so rooted in Virginia we decided to make this home.
We have 2 adult children that live within a easy commute and our daughter has 3 children. Out son and daughter-in-law have 3 granddogs and that may be all the family they have.
I just retired the first of the year after a career that took me from an at-hom...Expand for more
e mom while the children were very young to the private sector, to a White House support office, to NTSB and finally a couple of years at DIA. I'm loving not getting up at O'Dark Hundred each day and having time to enjoy our 3 terrific grandchildren.
Love traveling, reading, water exercise, cooking (now that there is actually time for doing that) and community service activites. Still settling into a new routine and making decisions on the direction/s to take this new stage of my live.
