Charlie's Story

Life After graduating high school in '67 I enlisted in the Marine Corps. 4 years later I joined civilian life as a pretty well rounded individual. While continuining my education I met girl on a blind date...A Friday night, I asked her to marry me 2 days later (Sunday). We were Married 6 month later......33 years later we are still married, happily that is. I began my career in Television advertising in NYC 1973 and worked for the same firm my wife worked for. I was hired by a client WPTV -TV West Palm in 1984 as General Sales manager, my wife was hired by the WB network in Miami. I Started a ...Expand for more
new TV station in Naples Florida in 1992, and then recruited to help start the PAX TV network in 1998 where I ran their Flagship station in West Palm Beach. Currently my wife is the general sales manager for the ( Spanish) Univision station in Miami and speakes no Spanish...go figuare. I retired from broadcasting in 2000, took some time off and started a new company Medirect Latino where I am currently. I have 2 children ages 17 & 22. Live in Lighthouse Point Florida, enjoy boating, traveling, and keeping in shape. I would enjoy hearing from anyone who went to King Park High school 1965- 1967.
