Charlotte's Story
Mostly you'll likely remember me as being part of the "hippy" scene and kind of a screw-up. I hung around all the wrong people. My sister Sue Baker was murdered by her husband in 1970 there in Napa and I pretty much disappeared after that. I was heavily involved in drugs for a bit and eventually went to "rehab" at Delancey Street Foundation in San Francisco in 1973. I'm now on the Board of Directors of that same organization. look it up at delanceystreetfoundation.org. I think about all my years growing up in Napa often and wonder what happened to everyone...alot of good years and many bad ones in that little town. I have a terrific daughter and son-in-law and two twin grandsons that I absolutely adore. So many good things have happened over the years, as well as tragedies, and life seems to have zipped by at the speed of light over the last 40 years for sure.
