Charlotte's Story
Hi!
Life has been so good to me. I have 3 beautiful sons who are 21, 20 and 17.
The 21 year old is my biological child. The younger son were adopted from Russia in 1995. So we went from a family of 3...to 5 overnight. What an adjustment!!! What a joy!
I finished undergraduate school at U of M and got my MBA at FIU. Since then, my work life has been really blessed. I've had wonderful positions in international marketing (lived in Argentina and France and learned those languages while there). Actually, at our last reunion (20 year), I was with Citibank International, had just returned from Argentina, and was pregnant with my oldest son.
After that, I continued to travel internationally a lot until 1998 , then decided that the kids were still too young at that time. So, I have stayed pretty much "domestically" grounded since then, but am getting ready to go back to international work (the young...Expand for more
est is 17 and really independent). I work for TIAA Cref as the Director of Marketing Strategy and love it. I am very lucky to have found a job in this economy, I'd say!!!,
Home is in Ridgefield, Connecticut which is beautiful and within commuting distance of NY. It's the kind of town that I read about in english classes (small town, everyone knows everyone else, kids are safe walking around) and we love it.
It is great to be in touch with high school friends. I speak often to Kathi Martell and Carol Berns. We are part of each other's lives, fabric, memories. I wish you all the best in all that you do. If you want to email, I'd be happy to hear from you.
And I'll ask one question that I've asked everytime I connect with someone...does anyone know where Donna Hamilton is? I haven't heard from her since I graduated college and still think about her....hoping she is doing well. Love to all.
