Charlotte's Story

Life changes in a moment...In the March of 2004, I was diagnosed with a serious medical condition. An auto immune disease, something called Lupus. Some people experience a mild form of it, some experience a severe form of it. I've been experiencing the latter. Since 2003, it's symptoms have "plagued" me. It has put me on a "rollercoaster" I wish not be on. The disease not only affected my blood cells ...Expand for more
but also various organs. Especially my kidneys. Because of their failure, doctors have me on chemo & certain medications to keep them from total "failure" hopefully never needing dialysis or a "new" kidney. Doctors & trips to the hospital are a constant. They will be the rest of my life.Surgeries there have been a few. Throughout it all I'm trying to keep my sanity & sense of humor.(see me at Facebook)...
