Charlotte's Story

Back when I graduated from Tech in 1959 I was a shy, skinny redhead. I did take a chance and was one of the main characters in the Senior Play (The Skin of our Teeth), playing a middle-aged married lady with a cheating husband. It took quite a bit of padding to make me fit the part. After high school I took nurses training at All Saints Hospital and, on completion, I joined the Navy. As a hospital corpswave I had the opportunity to travel, getting out in San Francisco during the "summer...Expand for more
of love". I was just a "weekend" hippy though, working at California Blue Shield weekdays. I married the first time 1969 and my ex- and I had two daughters who are now 32 and 37. I live with my second husband in Gulf Coast Florida, where we have a tax and bookkeeping business. We have two granddaughters (13 and 17) and my older daughter is expecting another child this summer - hope its a boy! I would love to hear if there is going to be a 50th Anniversary Reunion at Tech - anyone know?

Pacific Ocean in middle of Oregon (approx). Debris has been washing up all along here from Japanese Tsunami- even a full dock which showed up in Coos Bay, Southern Oregon. Gorgeous sight isn't it!
