Charlotte's Story
This is the hardest thing I 've done in a while. Most of my graduatiing class probably does not remember me, I don't remember many of them. I remember that I tried to stay out of the way and was teased a lot because I was very shy. Any way, after spending 4 year at Lee, I went on to VCU and got a BFA in Art Education. Upon graduation there, I joined the Women's army Corps for about 2 years and met my ex-husband who was also in the Army. We were stationed in TX, KS, Germany, HI, WI, and OK. the Army Training Aids Department. When we went to HI I became an Arts Specialist working the Army Arts and Crafts Facilities, and became the Director of the facility at Ft. McCoy, WI and facility manager at Ft. Sill, OK. Moved back east to AL and FL. Divorced in 1994 because he cheated on me. My two sons (now grown) live nearby. I quilt and have quilts published by two different authors. I work in at the Jacksonville Public Library in Adult programming and adult reference at two of the branches of the 21 different libraries. in the system.
