Hi, I graduated at mid-term and married Elton Watson from the 1960 class in 2/64 so missed out on a lot the last semester of Sr year. Did go through commencement services with class. I was pretty quiet in school and was close friends with Christie Carrigan, Sharon Dowlearn and Angie Cook. Elton died of kidney failure in 1977. I have one son, Tony, who lives in Whitehouse outside of Tyler. He is married a lovely lady in 5/02. She has two good boys, Ethan, who will be 19 9/10, and Nolan, who will be 15 10/10. How quickly they grow up! I started to college when I was 33 which was quite a culture shock! Met my current husband, Robert Jay Sanders, who graduated from Lamesa, at Angelo State where we both graduated. We married in 1985. I worked in public health most of my career as a Registered Sanitarian with local health departments and retired from the State Health Dept 10/05. Jay and I both retired from Cherokee County Health Department on 3/31/10! Yeah!!!! He was the IT person. He also does carpentry work and had his own cabinet making shop when in Lamesa. We live between Jacksonville & Rusk in the piney woods of East Texas and have been in the area for 15 years having moved here from Austin where we live...Expand for more
