Charlotte's Story

I left high school and went to UNM to be a nurse. I had some medical problems and wound up in education. I left UNM in the middle of my junior year. I moved to Washington State with my family and attended CWU and graduated with a degree in Special Education. I started teaching in Richland , WA and married my husband of 35 years who was a native of the Tri-Cities. We have 3 children Rusty 34, Whitney 32, and Trevor 29. ow have 3 grandchildren who are the light of our lives. Ric and I love to travel and be with our grandchildren. I will retire after next year and I am really looking forward to that freedom. I have enjoyed getting together with Kathy Gonzales Marrujo Thurman, Nora Sandoval Padilla and my sister Lynette Sullivan Lacy. We have a real Thelma and Louise thing going there. I hope others will start to check in here. I miss all of you and maybe my youth, ok?
