Life
Whoever said " Time flies when you're having fun" was absolutely correct. I cannot believe that I have been out of high school for nearly 20 years! It has been an interesting life; not always easy,but certainly not dull. After graduating from the University of Alabama, I married my college sweetheart, Vincent. We have a 10 year old, Maia, and a 12 year old, Dieria. My husband is a journalist, so we have traveled and moved a bit. We have lived in Indianapolis, New Orleans, St. Croix, (Virgin Islands) and here in Tuscaloosa. I moved back to Alabama in 2003 after living on St. Croix for three years. incent covered sports. It was a great experience and I would like to go back to the West Indies someday.
Currently, I am teaching preschool and being worn out on by the little crumbsnatchers on a daily basis. ( I love it!) I hope, however, to go to library school and become a media specialist. Most of you probably know that I love to read. I did a two year stint at Tuscaloosa Public Library before I began teaching preschool, so I was able to work with kids and be surrounded by books. yay!
My husband has always had itchy feet, so it probably won't be long before we are on the move again. Who knows? We might wind up in your town.
