Cherelyn's Story
Cherelyn Dawn Copelton (nee Vitone) passed away 8/21/2021,
born 8/20/1961 in Paterson, NJ. She was a long time Fair Lawn resident, graduating from Fair Lawn High School in 1979. Cherel graduated from beauty school and worked at The Hair Garden in Woodcliff Lake for many years before purchasing and operating the salon for almost 20 years. She is survived by her son, Michael Strader of North Brunswick; her daughter, Jessica Strader of Midland Park; her mother, Carolyn Pastor (Frank) of Midland Park; brothers, Nicholas Vitone and Michael Vitone; aunts, uncles, cousins, and nephews. She is also survived by her high school sweetheart, Kenneth Copelton. She is loved and will be missed; forever be in our hearts.
A memorial service is planned on 10/3/21 at 2PM at First Presbyterian Church of Ridgewood, NJ.
