Cheri's Story

I am a 62 year old retired nurse, due to a disability, I was married to the love of my life but he passed away on February 1 of this year and I miss him terriby and we have 5 wonderful children and 18 grandangels that I totally adore. We recently moved to Ohio, to be closer to my husbands family that he has been away from for 35 years by living in the south.. We bought a 3 bedroom home on 2 1/2 acres of land in a small community that we love and we are about in the middle of all his family .. We are just enjoying the time with his family and our new home..and we also recently purchased a boat with an awning over it for those hot hot days on the lake.. We have so many lakes up around where we live that we can fish a differnt lake everyday and still not repeat a lake for a month or longer.. We also as of Friday morning have our 13th grandchild.. and only our second grandson.. He is absolutly beautiful and his name is Christian Daniel.. We hope to start spoiling him real soon.. I love to ge...Expand for more
t in the Kitchen and invent a new recipe On March 27 of this year we had our 18th grandchild and 3rd grandson.. Bob was hoping he would live long enough to welcome him to the world, but sadly he didn't make it...We love and miss our peepaw.. My hero is Jesus Christ and the fact that he gave his life on the cross for me.. If I could improve my home, I'd remodel bedroom and add on a master bathroom. My dream home would be the one I have now. If I won $100 million, I'd give 25% of it to My Church, then save the rest . My current age is 60. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be DEAD. I was so completely WRONG. I share my home with My Husband, My first job was at Harware distributor, where I got paid 5.35 to take dictation and update the sales catalogs daily. What I remember most about it is I hated that job. The Christmas I got my bicycle and doll house.. and my daddy told me go back to bed .. I said but daddy Santa brought me my bike, I can see it shinning in the dark..
