Cheri's Story
I was born in San Diego, CA. My schools include Ft. Bragg High School, but we moved to St. Louis, MO just after my junior year so my Dad could go to seminary. He became a Presbyterian pastor after completing a 3-year Master of Divinity degree. I joined the Army in December 1976, and received a full semester of credits from Baylor University, (Waco, Texas) upon completion of my Medical Laboratory Technician training at Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, TX. Later. I attended Olympia College in Bremerton, WA, and graduated from Sacramento City College (AS Nursing). y 40s. At 48, I attended Shorter University (MA Leadership) at their Atlanta, GA campus. Now I'm studying Graphic Design at Chattanooga State College (when you're 60+ you can audit tuition-free!).
Served in the U.S. Army (Medical lab Tech, Tripler Army Medical Center, Honolulu, HI) and the U.S. Air Force Reserve (Medic - like a nursing assistant, Mather Air Force Base, Sacramento, CA).
I've lived in several states, and currently reside in Chattanooga, Tennessee
Four children, 8 grandchildren.
