Cherie's Story
Hi to all you fine folks! I do remember some of you, through my 70's stoner fog! Let's see... catching up. You know, I graduated just before my 16th birthday. I married Corry Dodson, of Huntington, at age 17. Did the cross country exodus in a Volkswagon bus, landing in San Diego for a year. Vegetarian, metaphysical, which will surprise no one who knew me in H.S. Moved up to Northern Cal. and built a 2 story octagon with hand tools (no electricity), living the hippie dream. d and built another home. Divorced in '83, remarried each other in '84 and had our first child. Second son was born in '86. Corry and I divorced again in 1991... I was single for a year when I met my second husband, Monte Thompson of Denver. We were together for 11 years, up until '03. I've since moved to Asheville, NC, near my parents who were still alive and together. My mom was widowed in 2010, and passed away herself in 2012. I'm self employed as a picture framer, getting ready to sell my parent's former home and move back to North Idaho, near what family remains.
