Cherie's Story
No kids, plenty of pets. What's left of my family is happy and healthy - Jill, class of 1980, living in Los Osos. Lola, class of '69, is in Los Osos as well. School
In grade school, I had a huge crush on Ruben V.- loved his hair! At John Adams, I fell in love (or thought I did) with Jim W. and he didn't know I was alive. In high school, Alvin Crown helped me out in Science and Biology and I am forever grateful. Jack Hinds was the best teacher ever. Berkeley Blatz was a wonderful teacher in Folktales and Mythology, but Westmoreland was the GREATEST to bring out art talent. He made my love of art become my passion. I still consider myself an artist underneath all of the accounting crap I cover myself in.
