Cherilyn's Story
After graduating from UT with a double major in Psychology and English and a minor in Education, I married my high school sweetheart. We have been together for almost 30 years! (married for 24). We have 4 daughters ages 21, 18, 14, and 10.
I taught 8th and 9th grade English at Apollo Jr. High and North Jr. High in Richardson until my 1st daughter was born. After that, I stayed home to take care of my kids, although I taught pre-school and at my church along the way. I currently work from home (in Flower Moun...Expand for more
d) for my brother Barry, who has 3 pediatric clinics, a dental office, and an orthodontic office that serve the underpriveliged kids in the Austin area.
I have just been accepted to graduate school at UNT and am pursuing my master's in counseling. I am hoping to begin teaching again in the fall.
Some of my fondest memories from high school are hanging out with Stacy, Cathryn, Jennifer, Daphne, Ellen, Martha, Karen, Leslie and Jaimie, and going to Chelsea Street Pub on Friday nights to sing-a-long with the band!
