Cherry's Story
Hi there! When I was younger my career path followed teaching young children and eventually I taught teachers the art of teaching reading at UCSD. I developed a website for teachers and parents with thousands of free materials for instruction. With the pandemic and the need for things to use at home I have developed a catalog of my things and creating free thumb drives to mail to people, making it easier to access research based tools to teach and practice skills from preschool through 5th grade. If the number of visitors I've had on my website counts as a reference, it hit over 50 million visitors as of this summer and the materials are used by people all over the world because it works. Gee, at almost 75 years old, my brain is still working and so am I, from home, of course! I'm now in western New York, but thanks to technology, we can still communicate!
