I own and run a B&B style vacation rental company "Grandview Mountain Cottages" on a 145 organic farm with my father in East Tennessee on the Cumberland Plateau. I started this business when I returned from living in Paris France for 15 years where I worked as an international trouble shooter consultant for global events. My mother "Clarkie" passed away in 2005 and after a few eyars of recovering from a major car accident I decided in 2008 to start the B&B vacation rental business with my Dad after "retiring" from consulting. My Dad Papa Phil (as our guests fondly call him) cooks for our guests and helps me with maintaining the cottages and grounds. Come visit us sometime! After high school I travelled with Phyllis Daggett a while around the country before attending Grinnell College in Iowa for a brief stint, then FAU and eventually ended up at UCLA with a math major. I changed my name in my early 20's from Cheryl to Ilaeka and after college, worked in San Francisco for 5 years in the art business (loved math but never worked in a field that used it much!)
