Cheryl Hasson:  

Life Since leaving Greendale in Sept of 1968, I have lived in Central Florida. I met my husband, John, in Avon Park where I graduated from high school. This December we will celebrate 37 years. We have two wonderful sons and two beautiful daughter-in-laws. This past fourteen months have been the hardest of my life. My mother, who lives in Ohio, had hip surgery, I changed jobs, and my husband and mother have both gone through cancer treatment. Our faith has kept us going and we're looking forward to a bright future. On a brighter note, last summer I went to Ohio to help celebrate my dad's 80th birthday and this summer I went again to celebrate my mom's 80th and my parent's 60th anniversary. Overall, life has been good. I went back to college in 2000 and became a CPA in 2004. We have done quite a bit of traveling in the US (including Hawaii in 1987) and Jamaica for a missions trip outside Kingston. My younger son, Jared, is a sargent in the Marines and is part of the Presidential Squadron stationed in Virginia. He has traveled quite a bit since joining the squadron in 2006, the latest being Poland, New Hampshire and Texas. Quite an adventure. My older son, Donald, recently moved from Florida to Mississippi so his wife could attend Reformed Theological Seminary.
