Cheryl's Story
After graduating, I started working at the Winn Dixie in Adventura and worked my way into the front end office. Attended Sheridan Vocational and earned a certificate for Administrative Asst. During this time I met my future husband to be.... We met at my sister's birthday surprise party. My sister's friend's boyfriend and he were roommates. After a brief courtship, we were married on March 25,1983 and divorced as of February 5, 2008. A very good friend convinced me to move to TN and I now live on a beautiful mountain and I am very happy. I am currently working as a sub teacher and I am engaged to wonderful man.
We both love animals and we have 8 dogs between us. (1 is a Chow/Shetland mix who he adopted when it was left with him (male now, 5yrs old), 3 were left on the highway as puppies 1-Jack Russell and 2 Tan Labs (2 boys and 1...Expand for more
girl now, 3 yrs old each). I arrived with 2 Boston Terriers a 5yr old (male) and 4 yr old (female) and then we added to our family with another 2yr old Boston Terrier (female).
I love keeping in touch with my friends from HHS and would love hearing from you.
I ALWAYS WANTED TO BE A:
Teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right.
HOW DO I VENT?
Usually by calling my best friends and venting to them.
MY HERO?
MY DAD!!! He has been on dialysis for 10 yrs now and is still going strong.
If I won $100 million, I'd give part of it to ADA (American Diabetics Assoc), then spend the rest on my husband to be, family and friends.
My oldest and best friend is Cathi (Chamness) Rice...She is like a sister to me. We met at Hallandale Middle School in 1973 and been friends since.
