My Pets
Bostick is the latest in a series of cats. She is a Bombay (India)street cat adopted as a kitten by a family from South Africa serving in Bombay. When they were on their way back to South Africa they put Bostick up for adoption. I took her on and now have her in Colombo, Sri Lanka. When I brought her to Colombo I had to attest to the Sri Lankan government that Bostick was actually born in Bombay! I will never understand the reasoning behing that.

They are actually my stepdaughters, but we have remained on close terms in spite of their father and me having divorced.
My Job
I am the General Services Officer for the American Embassy in Colombo, Sri Lanka. I oversee maintenance for all government owned offices and residences for 4 government agencies at post, contracting and purchasing, shipping and customs clearance, warehouse,and motorpool. I have a staff of 1 American officer and 130 Sri Lankan employees.
