Cheryl's Story
I've been living in Irmo (Columbia SC) since May of 2005. The most excitement I get now of days is raising my 1 yr old Minature Schnauzer, Keno. Keno has been with me since he was 7 weeks old and boy is he a hand full. He thinks he can talk. Maybe this is because I carry on conversations with him all day long as he is the only company I have during the day as my husband, John works during this time and I work the midnight shift. I haven't socialized much since being here and am content staying at home downloading music, creating CD's and surfing the net and yes of course shopping. I don't miss the ice and snow associated with home but I still enjoy and look forward to each trip home. I'm so centrally located I don't have to get on a plane to take a nice vacation. 2 1/2 hours I can be in Atlanta, Myrtle Beach, or Virginia Beach and...Expand for more
am only 4 hours from the Northern part of Florida.
I relax by listening to oldies or floating around in the pool sipping on a glass of blackberry wine.
My current age is 53. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be wiped out. I was so completely wrong..
I've been in management with the postal service for the past 12 years. It would be nice to be the Postmaster General who received a $800,000 dollar bonus this year.
My best friend would tell you I'm unselfish, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as standoffish.
In 10 years, I hope to be full of energy and life. I'm going to get there by the Grace of God.
My first job was at BBF, where I got paid less than 2 dollars to serve hamburgers. What I remember most about it is a customer throwing a hamburger at me because his order was wrong..
