Cheryl's Story
Life
After graduating Westside, I moved to Charleston SC and spent a couple of years working at the fitness center there and deciding what to do. I joined the Air Force while living there. I was stationed first in Germany, where I actually saw a few people from Westside. I left there and went to S. Korea. Where I met my husband, Bill. We were last stationed in Altus, Oklahoma. We have a son Cody (10) and a daughter Katie (8). We both seperated from the Air Force (me in 97 and Bill in 99). We lived in upstate NY in Bill's hometown for 9 years. Military
I was in the US Air Force from 2/93-11/97. I first trained in San Antonio TX, then to Bilouxi Miss. My first duty station was in Ramstein Germany for two years. While there I had the fortunate experience of traveling through many countries in Europe. I then got stationed in South Korea (Osan) for 1 year. I was then stationed in Altus OK. Although I am not in the armed forces now, I feel that was the wisest choice I made. I was able to see many countries and meet great people. Of course the best one being my husband of 12 years.
