Cheryl's Story
My story, I lived in AZ for 11 years before returning to NJ in August 1995 after my divorce. I have 3 wonderful children (a daughter and 2 sons) who are almost all grown now. My daughter moved back to AZ and has a daughter of her own. My oldest son attends Rutgers (New Brunswick) studying engineering. I own my own businesses (3 at the moment) and enjoy the freedom this gives me.
I love adventure and traveling. I have had the opportunity to sail on the America Cup racing boat and repel down waterfalls in New Zealand, snorkel and scuba the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, skydive in PA just to name a few. I have been to almost every state, including 3 islands in Hawaii, and have also visited French St. Maarten, Anguilla, and Canada. There is still so much more I'd like to see and experience and I am looking forward to taking advantage of what life has to offer.
On the romantic side, I have ...Expand for more
had some great experiences while dating throughout the years. Romance, adventure, excitement, relaxation...I even had a fantasy come to life. With all that I only experienced being in love a couple of times. I will always cherish those memories and the feelings. I did learn a valuable lesson though, never stop being yourself, never stop being respected or compromise yourself, never give up your friends and family, and never settle for less in return than you are willing to give. Respect, honor, truth and love.... accept nothing less, especially from yourself.
My dreams include owning a house on the water where I can wake up every morning enjoying the view, traveling along the coast on my own boat with my family and/or that special someone, seeing and experiencing the world in full as well as doing charity work along the way. Only time will tell what the future holds, but it helps to dream.
