My husband and I have raised three kids, the oldest a boy was raised more by the military than us, since he left at 18 and for the last 19 years has been a soldier, father, son and traveled the world defending his country. served 4 tours in the middle east and is now retired with a full disability awaiting more surgeries. He has earned 2 purple hearts, 1 each of the silver and bronze stars. the second or middle child is a daughter who is a graduate of EIU in the field of Music education and teaches music K-12 for a small community school. to be held in a few weeks to a great guy also a teacher, track & field & basketball coach for a local high school. They just bought and moved into their first house. The baby is getting ready to leave the nest as well after being accepted to Kennesaw State University in Ga. She will finish her education in health care. we just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. Iammarried to a wonderful man,Jim Robson. As the old song goes, Love is lovelier the 2nd time around, Oh so true. Since coming on classmates I have made a great friend who attended the same elementary school as I did, a few years apart, but we never met each other. We have spent many hours talking visiting and traveling with our new friends. Looking forward to making new friends and meeting old friend.
