Cheryl's Story
Life
I married Bob Soto, class of '69. We left Calif. 17 years ago and now live in Prescott, AZ. It's great! We are renovating a Victorian cottage built in 1918 we bought several years ago. It's a work in progress but, we love it.
We've had several family members move here, including our 11 yr. old twin granddaughters, Bailey & Courtney, who are our daughter Stacy's children.
Bob was married to Kali Gastler (class of '71) for several years and they have a son Damien, age 33, who owns his own electrical contracting company in Phoenix. Damien has a daughter, Kiara. She was born 9-14-04 and is just beautiful. Damien a great young man.
I have a son Tanner, age 33 who was in the JET program in Fukui, Japan teaching English for 2 years. He traveled through Europe on his way home fro...Expand for more
m Japan. He earned a dual Master's in International Relations and Policy, Planning and Development from USC. He works for the City of LA in the Planning Dept. in Code Studies. He also teaches a course at SCI-ARC.
Bob & I opened a pool hall in 2010, Barefoot Bob's Billiards. Come see us if you are in the area.
Bob and I had Stacy when I was still in high school, you may have seen me with a stroller on campus. We broke up for years and got back together 24 years ago. See... ya just never know.
All of the above was correct when I wrote it. It's now 2017 and there have been a lot of changes. I lost Bob 12-6-14. We had no idea he had Hep. C until Oct. 2014. By then it was too late to save his life. He was a very good man and it was an honor to have been his wife for so many years.
