Cheryl's Story
Since High School I got married, as you all know, in 1986 to Steve Bartro and we had a son, Cody who is still attending school in College Station. Steve & I have been divorced for 10 years and I have chosen to never remarry again.
I have found over the years that I will never experience the friendships like my senior year and after with all the classmates I remained in touch with. I feel the closeness I had with my large "circle" of classmates was rare and precious. Those times we were all together formed some of my fondest memories that will remain with me always. emptiness without them.
At present I have my own business which much of my time is devoted to so I don't have much of a social life. I have remained single for the past three years which has enabled me to focus on myself. This is the longest by far that I have been single and I am loving it!!
I have a strong desire to reconnect with my classmates and catch up on old times since I moved to California almost 10 years ago.
