Cheryl's Story
I always wanted to be a mother when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right. I had four sons, one born in Italy and the rest here in Florida. I was married twice, but have been single for a very long time.
My favorite way to relax is to spend time with my twin granddaughters and my best friends.
Looking back the stupidest thing I think I did in school was tying my ankles together with shoelaces during swimming practice.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have coffee, music, and positive attitude to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
I have lived all over the world with not only my father, but with my first husband. I lived in Italy in a small fishing village. You learn to appreciate the things you don't have this way. I've been to Japan, Italy, Greece, Nice, France, Venice, Florence, and Monaco. People are interesting all ove...Expand for more
r the world and it is good to see other cultures and how they live.
When I think of obsessions, I'm not sure I would consider being a workaholic as one, but for a very long time I was exactly that. Love what I do and am good at it. Pets, I have three cats and one dog. My dog is a powder puff Chinese Crested. He is a rescued pet who has decided his life ambition is to protect me at all costs. :) Now that is love don't you think?
I've had several professions in my life. I guess you could say first a mother, from there I became a nurse and worked it until 1986. I enjoyed every moment of it, but a single mother with kids, it was very hard to find daycare. I worked as a legal secretary and did medical transcription for a very long time also enjoyed. About 14 years ago, I changed my profession and now work in corrections. I'm one step below a probation officer. I love what I do and i'm good at it.
